  1. All excipients

  2. Heat lard and clear oil

  3. Add onion, ginger, star anise, cinnamon and chili and stir-fry for one minute

  4. Add beans, salt, chicken powder and light soy sauce and stir-fry for two minutes

  5. Add water to the pot to cover the beans and bring to a boil

  6. Fill a bowl of water and set aside, leaving a little water in the pot
