Steps
-
Ingredients: perilla, peach, ginger (fresh young ginger is best, use old ginger if not available), ingredients, white vinegar (or rice vinegar), rock sugar, salt (a little bit)
-
Wash the peaches, peel them and cut them into slices, cut the perilla into thick strips, and slice the ginger.
-
Find a larger sealed container, make sure it is oil-free and water-free. Spread a layer of rock sugar on the bottom, add a layer of perilla, then add a layer of peach slices, and then a layer of ginger slices. (PS: Each layer mentioned here is a thin layer, you can spread more peaches)
-
Then spread the container layer by layer in the order: rock sugar → perilla → peach → ginger slices.
-
After the ingredients are put in, sprinkle some salt evenly on the top (it's just a good idea, not too much, it will be salty, the salt is used to drain out the water), then pour 2/3 cup of white vinegar into the disposable cup (the proportion of white vinegar is adjusted according to the amount of ingredients you make, I only made 3 peaches), then pour some boiled water (mineral water is best) into the container from the top, and pour it to 2/3 of the container.
-
Finally, please wait quietly for one to two days. When you see the water turns purple, you can taste it
