Overview
Star anise cake is a traditional Chinese snack. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I used bean paste. You can choose the fillings you like. Here is the process

The raw materials are: cake flour, red bean paste, melon seeds, eggs, lard, and green plums

First make the pastry, weigh 100 grams of low flour and add 40 grams of lard to make a dry pastry,

Then weigh 150 grams of low flour, add 30 grams of lard, and add an appropriate amount of water to make a water-oil skin,

Then wrap the dry pastry into water-oil dough, roll it out flat, then roll up the pastry dough and cut it into small pieces

Then take a dough, roll it into a dough smaller than the dumpling wrapper, wrap it with bean paste filling, seal it downwards, and press it into a small cake shape,

Then score a rice ball on the small cake, cut 2/3 of each side, and then press each side into a small sharp corner with your hands. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees,
