Wash the yellow croaker, make sure to clean the black membrane in the belly, and set aside other accessories

Add a little oil to the pot. When the oil temperature is 40% hot, put the cinnamon, star anise and bay leaves into the pot and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant

Add the garlic and ginger slices to the pot and continue to stir-fry

Add two spoons of bean paste into the pot and stir-fry until fragrant

Put the washed yellow croaker in the pot. No need to cut the yellow croaker with a flower knife

Pour boiling water into the pot, the amount of water is slightly less than that of the yellow croaker, add two small spoons of sugar and a little cooking wine, simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, and turn off the heat when the soup in the pot becomes thick.

During the stewing process, stir the yellow croaker as little as possible to prevent the yellow croaker from breaking. I flipped it twice, but it didn’t look very good, but it still tasted delicious
