Beer Duck

Beer Duck

Overview

A few days ago, my sisters came back, so I wanted to make some delicious dishes for them to try. They tasted pretty good;-), but my photography skills are still not good :-P. Please forgive me for using PS in the end. I will work harder in the future, thank you.

  4. to 2 potatoes, washed and cut into chunks. Half an onion, cut into cubes. Cut green pepper into sections and set aside.

  5. Boil the water in a pan, add peanut oil, then pour in the ginger slices and duck meat, stir-fry until both sides are golden brown.

  6. Pour the potato cubes into the pan and stir-fry until the potato cubes are slightly yellow, that is, they look a little burnt and peeling. (It is better to fry the potato cubes separately, which is easier to succeed. Because I was pressed for time that day, I fried them together. Fry the potato cubes until they are golden on both sides, so they are not easy to rot when braised.)

  7. After the potato pieces are fried, add 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon each soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a small amount of salt.

    Beer Duck step 7
  8. After all the ingredients are stir-fried, (except the onions and green peppers, which are put last) pour them into the casserole.

    Beer Duck step 8
  9. Pour a bottle of beer into the casserole and soak the surface of the ingredients. (Any beer will do. Beer can effectively remove the fishy smell of duck meat.) After boiling over high heat, turn to medium to low heat and simmer for 50 minutes.
