Waist support cake
Overview
Although times have changed and everyone's living standards have improved, the custom of shaving one's head and eating waist cakes during February has still remained! The so-called waist-supporting cake is actually a flat, oval-shaped flat cake made from glutinous rice flour, with a slight concave in the middle, like a human waist. In the past, farmers worked in the fields all year round and believed that eating this kind of cake would prevent waist pain when doing farm work in the yellow plum season, so it was called waist cake. There is an ancient poem that says: Cut the rice cake into short strips and fry it in green oil until it becomes tender and yellow. The wind is hard to control every year, so I blame Wu Niang for her thin waist.

Place it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until all the sugar melts

Add an appropriate amount of oil to the pot and heat it, then add the prepared waist cake

Fry until the surface turns yellow, then turn over and fry again
