Double Yolk Toast

Double Yolk Toast

Overview

There were two egg yolks left over from making pastries. It would be a pity to throw them away, and they wouldn't taste good if eaten directly, so I just used them to make bread. Adding two egg yolks to make toast, it is very explosive and grows very tall. It needs to be covered with tin foil after a few minutes of baking.

  2. Pour in the milk powder and flour, add yeast to the top of the flour, put the bread bucket into the bread machine, and select the kneading program for 13 minutes. Different models of bread machines will have different dough kneading times

  3. After the first kneading is completed, add butter cut into small pieces and continue kneading for 15 minutes

  4. The glove film can be removed, also known as the complete stage

  5. Divide the kneaded dough into 3 portions, each portion is about 170 grams. Roll into a round shape, cover with plastic wrap and rest for 15 minutes

  6. Roll the dough into an oval

  10. Place in the oven and ferment until 8 minutes full

  11. After fermentation is completed, preheat the oven to 170 degrees for upper heat and 185 degrees for lower heat. It takes 10-13 minutes to preheat (while waiting for the oven to preheat, the toast will grow taller). Place the toast box on the bottom layer of the oven and bake for about 35 minutes. The actual baking temperature will depend on the temperament of your own oven. Keep an eye on it at all times. Because the egg yolk has a particularly strong explosive power, the toast will have grown taller after a few minutes of baking. Cover it with tin foil immediately to prevent the top from getting too dark.
