Overview

To make pizza, you first need to prepare a pizza base. Due to time constraints, we can prepare the cake base in advance, freeze it, and use it anytime. The serving size of this recipe is 2 6-inch pizzas or 1 8- or 9-inch pizza crust.

  1. Put all the ingredients except butter into the bread machine and start the kneading process.

  2. After the first kneading, add butter, start kneading again, and knead until the surface of the dough is smooth and a thin film appears.

  3. Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll into balls, cover with plastic wrap and rest for 20 minutes.

  4. Roll out the relaxed dough, put it into a 6-inch round mold, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it ferment in a warm place until it is about double the original volume.

  5. Punch holes in the fermented cake base.

  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 5 minutes, then place the middle layer and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the surface is golden brown.

  7. Unmould after taking out of the oven. When not in use, it can be stored in a fresh-keeping bag in the refrigerator.
