Bird cake
Overview
Bird cake is made of flour, ghee and maltose as the dough and sweet potato and taro as the traditional fillings. It is shaped into a baby bird looking up to the sky and then baked. It is said that the bird symbolizes freedom and gives the people who were in a crisis at that time a sense of satisfaction and a desire for relief, so the cakes were shaped into the shape of a bird. But the bird cake you made looks silly, so please forgive me for making it for the first time, haha
