Overview
Vinaigrette is a common dressing for Western vegetable salads. It is mainly composed of oil, vinegar, and salty agents. The oil is usually olive oil, and the vinegar is black vinegar. However, I feel that the recipe of authentic oil and vinegar sauce is not healthy enough (too much oil), and I don’t often have the ingredients for authentic oil and vinegar sauce on hand, so I always mix the ingredients based on what I have on hand: 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon light soy sauce , and then add some salt and sugar according to the taste; sometimes if there is lemon juice on hand, I will use it instead of balsamic vinegar; if there is walnut oil, I will also use it instead of sesame oil; sometimes oyster sauce will be used instead of light soy sauce. In short, what is used when the taste is similar. Of course, sometimes if I am too lazy, I will also use ready-made oil and vinegar sauce instead of preparing it manually.
