Stir-fried tofu pudding with green garlic
Overview
When I was a kid, my family would make tofu the day before the pig was slaughtered at the end of the year, so that I could prepare various dishes to entertain guests on the day of the pig slaughter. Making tofu means you can eat tofu curd (you can’t buy tofu curd in rural areas). After making the tofu curd, my mother usually puts a little oil in a wok to stir-fry homemade tempeh, then pours in the tofu curd and boils it and sprinkles some green garlic sprouts. The bean curd rice with rich garlic flavor is delicious. All four of us sisters would have full stomachs after eating it that day.
