Wash the pumpkin, peel it and cut it into pieces

Cook for 10 minutes and steam until cooked

Add the steamed pumpkin to the white sugar and crush it into a puree

In the pumpkin puree, add glutinous rice flour, flour, and an appropriate amount of water at a time, and stir evenly until it becomes a paste (flour is added for better shaping, if you like a softer texture, do not add flour)

Add vegetable oil to the pan, heat it over high heat, then turn to medium heat (if you keep using high heat, the batter will be easily fried when placed in the pan). Carefully add the pumpkin batter. After forming into a cake shape, turn over and fry for another minute (be sure to turn over after forming, otherwise the batter will flow out from the inside)

You can fry 3-4 pieces at a time. After frying, put all the pumpkin cakes back into the pot and fry them again to make the skin crispier. Then you can serve them!
