Heat hot water and bring it to a boil.

You can add shredded potatoes, or you can add shredded carrots together. The shredded carrots can be eaten raw. You can add shredded carrots or not depending on your personal preference.

Boil for 2 to 3 minutes, remove from the pot, soak in cold water and drain away the water. Don't cook it for too long as it will affect the taste.
