【Yantai】Braised Hairtail Fish
Overview
The most popular way to cook hairtail at my house is to coat it in batter and fry it, or deep-fry it. There are very few ways to braise it, because it will be very fishy if not handled well; in addition, the fish meat is easy to break, and the fish bones are everywhere after cooking, making it very difficult to eat. The hairtail I bought this time was larger and easier to handle, so I made braised flavor. The method of frying first and then roasting can effectively remove the fishy smell. Simmering over low heat allows the hairtail to slowly absorb the flavor. Hairtail fish is rich in nutrients and contains a variety of mineral elements and vitamins necessary for the human body. It is an ideal nourishing food for the elderly, children, and pregnant women. Pregnant women eating hairtail is beneficial to the development of fetal brain tissue; children eating more hairtail is beneficial to improving intelligence; the elderly eating more hairtail can delay brain atrophy and prevent Alzheimer's disease; women eating more hairtail can make their skin smooth and moist, and their hair can be long and dark.
