Roasted Pork with Spring Bamboo Shoots
Overview
Spring is here, and I like spring bamboo shoots, so I thought of cooking a dish with spring bamboo shoots. My husband kept saying that my braised pork was not delicious, so I decided to cook a dish of braised pork with spring bamboo shoots to give this person who was short of meat as a child a try.

Peel and cut the spring bamboo shoots into pieces, drain (use cold water)

The pork belly should be fat and lean, cut into pieces, and the size depends on the chopped spring bamboo shoots.

Heat pan with cold oil and burn sugar color

Sliced pork belly cooked in sugar color

All colored with green onions, ginger, cinnamon and star anise, plus light soy sauce and dark soy sauce

Add the spring bamboo shoots, add more water than the pork belly and spring bamboo shoots, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 40 minutes.

Season and reduce the sauce over high heat.

Fat but not greasy pork belly would be great with fresh spring bamboo shoots.
