Ingredients
Steps
-
3-5 fresh lemons purchased in the supermarket.
-
Rinse it with clean water and rub an appropriate amount of salt on the surface of the lemon.
-
Rinse the lemon again with clean water, drain the water, cut off both ends and set aside.
-
Cut the lemon into as thin slices as possible with a knife.
-
Take a sealed glass jar that has been washed and drained beforehand.
-
Spread a layer of lemon slices evenly on the bottom of the glass jar.
-
Use a spoon to pour a layer of honey evenly on top, and cover the first layer of lemon slices with honey.
-
Add a second layer of lemon slices.
-
Alternately add a layer of lemon slices and a layer of honey until the glass jar is filled. Place it in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. Because I use local homemade honey, the color is not as bright as that sold outside, but the taste and nutrition are also excellent.
-
After being pickled for a week, the lemon slices and honey have been fully integrated. The sweetness of honey combines with the sourness of lemon.
-
When you want to drink, take 1-2 lemon slices and put them into the cup.
-
Add the honey water in the glass jar to the cup according to your personal taste.
-
Finally, add an appropriate amount of warm water, mix well and serve. Be sure to use warm water!
