Golden pomfret is a marine fish. Wash and clean the fish belly after buying it.

Make two cuts on both sides, but don't cut through.

Add ginger, green onion, and a little cooking wine and marinate for half an hour.

Cut some ginger and green onions into shreds.

Drain the marinated fish and top with shredded onion and ginger again.

Place in a steamer and steam over medium heat for fifteen minutes.

After steaming, pour off excess water.

Pour a ladle of scalding hot oil over it.

Pour in soy sauce for steamed fish and serve.
