【Oreo Purple Sweet Potato Ice Cream】
Overview
Today I made a delicious ice cream, which was paired with crushed Oreo cookies and roasted almonds, which made the ice cream extremely rich in texture. To be honest, I think the delicate ice cream that melts in your mouth, paired with such crispy ingredients, tastes the most special and delicious. I highly recommend friends to try this combination. It doesn’t have to be purple sweet potato ice cream, any flavor will do.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Peel the purple potatoes, cut into thick slices and steam them in a pot (you can also use a microwave).
-
After steaming, put it into a cooking cup while it's hot, add lemon juice, and stir evenly. At this time, the color of the purple sweet potato will change from the dark gray just out of the pot to a very bright rose red.
-
After it is completely cooled, add an appropriate amount of milk, stir into a fine, thick purple sweet potato paste, and refrigerate for 2 hours. (The amount of milk is about 150ML, add it in portions to avoid excess)
-
Add sugar to the light cream and beat until 60% fluffy.
-
Add the stirred purple sweet potato puree to the whipped cream and mix evenly.
-
Take out the ice cream tub that has been frozen in the refrigerator for more than 12 hours and install the base.
-
Pour the mixed ice cream batter into the ice cream bucket with the stirring stick.
-
Put it in the oven and install it.
-
Start the dough kneading program and set the time to 20 minutes.
-
At this time, the ice cream bucket will start to stir automatically. Put the prepared ice cream into a crisper and freeze it in the refrigerator for 2 hours to make hard ice cream. When eating, scoop the balls into a bowl and sprinkle with crushed Oreo cookies, chopped almonds, and chocolate sprinkles.
