Red Date Beauty Cake
Overview
Red dates: a good food for beauty. Making cakes with red dates is easier to digest. Most of them are made with flour. I also tried using glutinous rice flour to make red date cakes. The result was that it was too sticky and could not be cut into pieces. Recently, I finally found a recipe and made slight adjustments to the original recipe. It tastes good and is easy to cut into pieces

Wash and remove red dates

Add water and sugar (I used brown sugar) and cook for half an hour, then turn off the heat and simmer for 10 minutes

Pour 2 into a blender and blend into jujube puree

Strain 3 through a sieve to remove the jujube skin and residue, pass it through several times

Add the powder to the jujube puree and stir evenly to make a slurry

After the water in the steamer is boiled, pour the batter into the steaming cake basin and steam it. I steamed it layer by layer, steaming each layer for 5 minutes
