Stir-fried broad beans with bacon
Overview
Now is the season when broad beans are on the market in large quantities. Fresh broad beans don’t have that weird taste and are delicious when they are pink. Saute in light canola oil until the tenderness of the fresh broad beans is highlighted. Canola oil has the lowest fat content among cooking oils and does not contain trans fat and cholesterol. A daily intake of 20 grams of canola oil can help us stay away from heart disease.
