Making cakes using a rice cooker is a success!

Overview

Haha, the first time I made it, I didn’t beat the egg whites well, and it only came out a little bit. Then I made it again, and this time I patiently beat the egg whites for a longer time, and it was successful. Excited. . .

  1. Prepare the ingredients, eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, white vinegar, salt, and water.

  2. Separate the egg white and egg yolk, be sure to separate them cleanly!

  3. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the egg yolks and mix well, then add 4 tablespoons of flour, sprinkle a little baking powder, and mix well. During the mixing process, add water according to the amount of flour (you can also add milk, because my mother doesn’t eat milk, so I only added water). Mix until there are no big particles in the flour. I was lazy and didn’t mix well. Hee hee.

  4. Um, sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the egg white process, I will make up for it next time! Add a spoonful of sugar, a little salt, and 1 spoonful of white vinegar to the egg whites (you can add it or not, it doesn’t matter if you add it or not. If some people are afraid of the fishy smell of eggs, you can add a little bit), and then you can start beating the eggs. I suggest you all buy an egg beater. If you don’t use it often, just buy an ordinary and cheap one. Otherwise, it will be very time-consuming to beat by hand. Use a whisk to beat it until it becomes foamy in less than a minute, then add another spoonful of sugar and continue beating until it becomes creamy. Add another spoonful of sugar and continue beating. If it feels good, pick up the bowl and turn it upside down so that the egg whites will not flow out. You must be patient and do this step well. You would rather fight for a while than be lazy. .

  5. Then add the creamed egg whites to the previously beaten egg yolks in three batches. Add 1/3 of it first and mix well. Then continue to add the egg whites and continue to mix. Mix everything evenly. Note that when stirring, stir up, down, left, and right, not in circles.

  6. Finally, preheat the rice cooker (my family uses a pressure rice cooker, so it doesn’t matter much, any kind will work). Then brush a layer of oil on the surface, cooking oil at home will do, in order to make it non-stick and make it easier to release from the mold when done. Then pour down the mixed ingredients and shake them evenly with your hands. Just turn on the cooking button of the rice cooker and cook for 10 minutes. Then turn on the pot and test it with a toothpick. If the toothpick is clean, it means the cake is completely cooked. If there is still batter, it means the inside is not yet cooked. My pressure cooker is cooked in 10 minutes. Then put it outside and place it upside down. The cake will come out of the mold on its own!

  7. I was very excited to show off a few pictures. I was so excited because I had done it unsuccessfully before, so I was very excited that it was successful this time!

  8. I’m going to try next time to see if I can make it without separating the egg yolk and egg white. If I can, it will be much more convenient. I can post the recipe then. . La la la.
