Steps
-
Use a bowl to prepare ingredients, flour, pumpkin, sugar, yeast, and a little warm water.
-
Wash and cut the pumpkin into pieces, steam it in a steamer for 8 minutes, then take it out.
-
Fill a bowl with a little warm water, put the yeast in, stir, and set aside. (Note that the water here can only be a little bit, not too much, and the water is warm, about 37 degrees, which is about the same as human body temperature. Boiled water cannot be used. Water that is too hot will burn the yeast to death)
-
Mash the steamed pumpkin into a puree with a spoon and set aside.
-
Prepare flour and dough.
-
Make a small well in the middle of the flour and pour the yeast water into it.
-
Pour in the pumpkin puree.
-
Mix the flour into the dough until the basin, dough and hands are light.
-
We use the method of quickly rising the dough. Put cold water in the steamer, put the dough in a large bowl, put it into the steamer, cover the pot, turn on the heat for 2 minutes, and then turn off the heat. After waiting 45 minutes.
-
After 45 minutes, take out the dough. The dough is now 2-3 times the size before proofing.
-
Please look at the picture, the risen dough has a honeycomb shape inside.
-
Knead the dough into a long shape.
-
Cut into bun shapes.
-
Prepare to steam, but be sure to rub a little cooking oil on the steamer before steaming to prevent the steamed buns from sticking to the pan.
-
Put the steamed buns in and steam for 10 minutes.
-
Take it out of the pan and it’s ready to eat.
