Overview
When I used to work in Tianjin, my favorite place to buy shredded coconut balls from Daqiao Road was to say that the taste was so good, with a strong aroma of shredded coconut, which makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Now that I have been away from Tianjin for several years, the coconut balls from Daqiao Road can only remain in my memory. I just bought shredded coconut a few days ago, and I thought about making these coconut shredded balls myself to satisfy my craving

Mix shredded coconut, milk powder, low-gluten flour and fine sugar evenly

Beat the egg whites with chopsticks (you can just use chopsticks, no need to use a whisk, otherwise too much foam will be produced).

Mix well with your hands and take a small piece of dough. Roll into small balls

Roll the ball in shredded coconut so that the surface of the ball is evenly coated with shredded coconut

Use this method to roll all the dough into small balls (I rolled them a bit big, 18 in total) and put them on the baking sheet

Preheat the oven in advance to 150 degrees for about 40 minutes.
