Pour the rabbit meat into water to remove the blood, drain out the water and discard

Bring the water to a boil, add aniseed, salt, cooking wine, green onion, ginger, dark soy sauce, sugar, chili pepper, rabbit meat, bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 45 minutes
