Soup dumplings
Overview
My friend said she had eaten soup dumplings in Wuhan, and said they were Wuhan snacks. I also heard that Shanghai was the most famous, but when I checked, it turned out that Kaifeng, Henan Province was the first to create it. But my husband said that the most authentic ones are the soup dumplings made by my mom, who is a good foodie. Haha, life is just about entertaining yourself and having a good mood every day.

Make a dough with a 2:1 flour to water ratio and let it rest for more than 30 minutes.

Stuffed pork belly with seasonings. (The meat filling is washed in advance and twisted by yourself)

Stir in one direction until sticky.

The solidified meat jelly is cut into cubes

Add into the mixed meat filling.

Just stir it up

The risen noodles can be made about the same size as the dough used to make dumplings.

Fill the stuffing and add a few pieces of diced pork skin (if you like the soup more juicy, add a few more pieces)

Wrap them into buns and wrap them one by one.

Upper drawer. Since it’s not dough making, you don’t need to leave too much space.

After opening the pot, steam over high heat for 7 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for one minute. The soup dumplings with rich soup would be just fine. It smells so good. It was a pity that I forgot to take a picture of how it looked when I opened it because I had a guest. Let’s talk about it next time.
