Dragon Boat Festival is my childhood favorite festival. Because of the rice dumplings, I can eat rice dumplings as the main food every day. The rice dumplings are made two days ago. Peanut meat rice dumplings are a must-make rice dumpling at my house because my husband loves meat rice dumplings. Of course, there is another reason. Most other people make bean paste rice dumplings, so we receive a lot of bean paste rice dumplings as gifts! Hehe. . . So it’s better for me to wrap meat

Wash the glutinous rice and peanuts and soak them for more than twelve hours. Blanch the rice dumpling leaves with boiling water

Drain the soaked glutinous rice, add dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and salt to all the glutinous rice, mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.

Cut the meat into small pieces

Add seasonings: dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, five-spice powder, sugar, salt and refrigerate for 24 hours to taste

Take a rice dumpling leaf and roll it into a cone shape, then add a little glutinous rice.

Add a few more pieces of pork (my family likes to eat more meat)

Put a little glutinous rice on top of the meat and press it tightly with your fingers

As shown in the picture, press the excess part toward the glutinous rice

Use your fingers to hold the excess rice dumpling leaves and fold them to one side

Fold and wrap the excess rice dumpling leaves

Use cotton rope to tie tightly.

Put the tied rice dumplings into the pot, add water, the amount of water should be enough to completely cover all the rice dumplings, and close the lid. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat for 2 hours
