They contain a variety of vitamins and more than 30 kinds of lipid substances, which have significant effects on fighting leukemia, treating heart disease, liver disease, hypertension, restoring physical strength and eliminating fatigue. They are called the Queen of Fruits and the Fruit of Life. The selenium content of Rongcheng figs is 100 times that of edible fungi and 400 times that of garlic. Japanese scientists extracted benzyl ester, bergamot, psoralen and other anti-cancer substances from Rongcheng fig juice.
