Overview
Make a bowl of soup on a weekend afternoon and watch the water vapor condense on the glass. The biggest advantage of making soup is to use whatever ingredients are available.

Prepare the ingredients, cut the winter melon and bamboo shoots into pieces, and cut the tomatoes into small pieces.

Add oil to the pot, add onion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant, then add tomatoes and stir-fry to make soup.

Add winter melon and bamboo shoots and stir-fry for one minute.

Add water to cover the ingredients, boil the pot and add thick soup and shrimps. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat until the winter melon is soft and rotten, then add salt and serve.
