Spicy Chicken
Overview
Spicy chicken is one of my favorite dishes. I always feel a little oily when making this dish. Today I had a whim and wanted to try using an air fryer to fry it. I didn’t expect the effect to be very good. The most important thing is that it is not oily at all, so you don’t have to worry about getting fat when you eat it!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepared auxiliary materials: chili, garlic, ginger slices, peppercorns, and aniseed. The amount of chili depends on personal taste. If you like spicy food, add more chili
-
Measuring spoon used: large 15ml, small 1g
-
Marinate: 2 tablespoons cooking wine, 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons five-spice powder, 1 tablespoon cooking oil, 1 teaspoon sugar, marinate for 30 minutes.
-
Blanch: Add water to the wok. After the water boils, put the marinated chicken into the pot. When the water boils again, add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine. When the water boils again, turn off the heat and take out the chicken
-
Use an air fryer
-
Put tin foil in the air fryer and pour the chicken into the pot
-
Set the time to 30 minutes, the temperature is 200 degrees, and turn it over every 5 minutes. There is no need to put oil in it. The fat of the chicken itself is enough. If you feel that the taste is not burnt enough after 30 minutes, you can extend the time appropriately, but be careful to turn it over
-
Put oil in a pan, heat the oil to 50%, pour in the accessories, stir-fry until fragrant, add the fried chicken and stir-fry, finally add cumin powder and pepper powder to taste. If you think it is not salty enough, you can add salt according to taste. I just added a small spoonful of salt
