Overview

I found vanilla orchid pods after cleaning out the refrigerator, and decisively made a simple oven of vanilla bread. With the morning sunshine and a cup of homemade vanilla milk tea, I started a beautiful day!

  1. Have all materials ready

  2. Cut open the vanilla bean pod and scrape out the seeds inside.

  3. Put all the ingredients except butter into the bread machine and start the dough mixing process. Mine takes 20 minutes.

  4. Add butter and start another dough mixing process

  5. Start the fermentation process of the mixed dough until it has doubled in size and does not shrink back when you poke it with your finger. Mine was just a little overdone.

  6. After the dough has risen, deflate and divide into 10 small portions.

  7. Roll into oval shape

  8. Roll up the rolled dough

  9. Roll it out again and roll it up.

  10. Let it rise for a second time until it doubles in size. Brush with egg wash and preheat the oven to 180℃ for 15 minutes
