I don’t remember how old I was when I first ate popsicles. I just remember it was summer. I passed by an ice cream shop that afternoon and I insisted on pestering my mother to buy it for me. My mother couldn't stand my coercion and finally bought it for me. The popsicles cost 10 cents, 20 cents, and 50 cents. The one-cent and two-cent popsicles are naked without any packaging. Although there was no food problem like now, she probably thought it was cheap but not good, so she gritted her teeth and bought me a fifty-cent one. Looking at the smoky popsicle, I carefully licked it, and it felt cool from my mouth to my heart. It felt sweet and cool~ I asked my mother to try it, but she didn't want it. Not long after, our family also opened a small store, bought a refrigerator, and started selling ice cream. In the summer, when my parents were taking a nap, my brother and I would eat secretly and enjoy ourselves. Because of this, I don’t know how many days later, I often have stomachaches. Hey, the doctor said it was stomach cold, so I shouldn’t eat too much raw or cold food ~ Fast forward more than ten years, and now it’s spring. However, Guangzhou has jumped directly into summer, and it’s ice cream season again! One of the main ingredients of ice cream: whipping cream. When I became a hands-on foodie, I realized that there are two types of whipped cream: animal cream and vegetable cream. Vegetable cream, also known as margarine, contains a variety of harmful substances to the human body. Most cakes and ice cream outside use vegetable cream. So today I made another simple vanilla ice cream. Of course, even if the material is safe, don’t eat too much, especially the elderly, children, and menstruating women.
