Golden bean paste roll
Overview
The outer shell of this snack has a high butter content and is very crispy. The taste is definitely different from similar products sold in ordinary Western pastry shops.

After the butter has softened, pour in the powdered sugar and mix well, then pour in the high-gluten flour. Knead the butter and flour evenly with your hands until the flour becomes coarse cornmeal.

Pour in the beaten eggs and knead into a dough. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about half an hour. until the dough becomes stiffer.

Depending on the size of the cutting board, divide the dough into 2 to 3 portions. Take 1 portion of the dough and roll it into a long shape on the cutting board. Roll out the long strip, cut off the irregular parts with a knife, and shape it into a regular rectangle. Pipe a long strip of bean paste filling in the middle of the rectangular dough sheet. Wrap the bean paste filling with dough sheets to form a long cylindrical strip.

Brush a layer of egg wash on the surface of the long strip, and sprinkle some white sesame seeds. Use a knife to cut the strip into equal lengths.

Bake at 180 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, until the surface is golden brown.
