Rose Purple Sweet Potato Buns and Coconut Yam Buns
Overview
I suddenly thought about using purple sweet potato to make steamed buns. So I started to make steamed buns with ready-made purple sweet potato puree and yam puree. Due to the addition of rose sauce and coconut paste, the buns are particularly sweet and delicious.

Pour milk, eggs, a little salt, appropriate amount of sugar, flour, and olive oil into the bread machine. I use the ACA bread machine. Select dough program.

Take out the dough and start deflating. Then cut into pieces with a cutter.

While the dough is rising, steam the yam and purple sweet potato and mash them into puree. Add a little milk, appropriate amount of shredded coconut, and sugar to the yam, mix well and set aside

Just like making steamed buns, add purple sweet potato rose sauce and yam puree respectively. In order to distinguish them, purple sweet potatoes are wrapped into round buns, and yam is wrapped into pleats

Put it into the steamer, cover it and let it rise for 15 minutes, then steam over high heat for 15 minutes

Don't take it out of the pot immediately after steaming. Turn off the heat and wait for two minutes before uncovering it and taking it out of the pot.
