Preheat the oven to 180˚C and lightly toast the walnuts in a frying pan, stirring constantly to avoid burning.

In a mixing bowl, pour butter and sugar and mix.

Add eggs and mashed banana until combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt and pour into the previous mixture.

Add chopped walnuts, raisins and vanilla and mix well.

Grease and flour a loaf pan, pour the mixture and bake for 65 minutes (test with a toothpick at 60 minutes, if the toothpick comes out clean, the loaf is done).
