My mother bought a lot of apricots and said she wanted to eat apricot jam, so she made a jar of it

Wash the apricots, cut into pieces, sprinkle with sugar and pickle

Marinate overnight and set aside.

Using a clay press, crush the pickled apricot pieces and set aside.

Pour into a non-stick pan and heat, bring to a boil over high heat first, then reduce to low heat and simmer for an hour and a half, until the jam becomes transparent and thick.
