Christmas tree salad
Overview
On Christmas day, I made a Christmas tree for my baby to suit the occasion. The 2-year-old baby has no idea what Christmas is. To satisfy the baby, he often asks what is it? What is that? Why? Waiting for the curiosity, the mother must regard the kitchen as the best classroom, make a Christmas tree for the baby with her own hands and explain what Christmas is. The moment I brought the Christmas tree in front of her, the baby’s curious eyes and the funny look of eating with his little hands are still unforgettable to my mother. From then on, the baby understands that there will be a Christmas tree, Santa Claus, Christmas gifts, and snowmen waiting for him on Christmas Day. . . I often tell my mother that I want to go to Antarctica, where there are penguins and Santa Claus (a scene from a storybook). Now whenever the mother asks the baby what she wants to eat, she will say she wants to eat a Christmas tree. In fact, this Christmas tree can not only stimulate the baby's interest in eating, bring nutritious snacks to the baby, but also educate and entertain. Best of both worlds.

Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients, peel and wash the potatoes; wash the broccoli; wash the small tomatoes; wash and peel the carrots; wash and set aside the chicken breasts;
-
Slice the potatoes and carrots, and cut the chicken breast into small pieces;
-
Add double the amount of water to the milk and bring to a boil, then add the chicken breasts, take them out when they turn white;
-
After the water is boiled, put in the corn kernels and blanch them, then remove them;
-
After the water boils, add a little oil and blanch the broccoli, then quickly add cold water to cool down;
-
Cut a piece of carrot into a five-star shape with a knife. I don’t have a mold, so I have to draw it on paper and carve it out with a knife or cut it out with scissors (of course, it will definitely look uglier);
-
Mash the steamed potatoes and carrots;
-
Then add corn kernels, chopped chicken breasts, cooked and chopped eggs
-
Mix all ingredients well, add salad dressing and a little sugar;
-
Gently pile the salad into a Christmas tree shape;
-
Insert the blanched broccoli from the bottom of the tree. Use scissors to cut off the root of each broccoli petal for insertion. Dot the tree with corn kernels and cherry tomatoes.
