【Winter Melon Little Whitebait】Delicious winter melon
Overview
My husband’s colleague gave me a bag of small dried fish with a white body and a little bit of transparency. I don’t know what kind of fish it is. They just said that this little baby eats well. Generally, small fish and shrimps are supplemented with calcium. I tried to add some to my son’s stewed eggs and only ate eggs without fish. I added a little to the boiled noodles and didn’t even eat the noodles. It seems that our little guy doesn’t like to eat this. I tasted the small fish and the meat was quite thick, chewy and a bit fishy. After searching online, I learned that this small fish is originally called whitebait, and it is a very calcium-rich fish. Nutritionists have listed it as a longevity food. It has remarkable effects on nourishing the lungs, clearing gold, nourishing yin and replenishing deficiency, and is called a treasure in the water. It is suitable for children, especially those with weak constitution, nutritional deficiencies, indigestion, hyperlipidemia, weak spleen and stomach, and those with symptoms of lung deficiency, cough, and fatigue. It can also be used to gain new knowledge. Winter melon and whitebait is a common dish this season. I think it goes well with this small whitebait. The freshness of the small whitebait penetrates into the water of the winter melon, making the pieces of winter melon look particularly fresh.
