Rose Scones
Overview
I don’t do a lot of baking, and I’m not professional either. The finished product is only promoted to a small circle of friends. This rose scone was made to congratulate my best friend on her wedding. When my best friend set the wedding date, she called me early and asked me to make some handmade snacks as a souvenir... After hearing this, I felt so happy. What makes me happy is that such trust comes from words without any modification! My best friend and I have been together for more than ten years. It’s absolutely great that I can be useful in such a big event as getting married! I once again emphasized to my best friend that this is hand-made, there are no additives, preservatives have a limited shelf life, and the taste will also be affected... After talking a lot, my best friend said that this kind of love cannot be measured by any money, and blocked my long-winded words. Beauty comes from trust! Trust comes from beauty!

Steps
-
Warm the milk and put the yeast in it to melt. Cut butter into small pieces and soften at room temperature. In a bowl, add flour, sugar and melted butter. Peel off the outer green skin of dried roses, leaving only the flowers, crush them with your hands and set aside.
-
Mix the dried roses with flour, butter, and sugar, and finally add the yeast milk water in small amounts several times (it may not be all used up, it depends on the water absorption of the flour). As long as the dough is dry and wet, knead until the surface is lightly smooth. Do not overdo it.
-
Roll out the dough, just a little thicker, not too thin. Here, I tried two methods, one is to roll out the dough directly after mixing it, and the other is to leave the dough to rise for forty minutes before rolling it out. Both are available, with different tastes. The former one is crispy and hard, while the latter one is soft. I think they are all delicious, it depends on what you like.

You can use any shape you like, brush the surface with egg wash at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.

It tastes sweet and exudes a light rose fragrance
