Fig Tart
Overview
I found this recipe in Gourmet World. It looks very good and is simple to make. I think it will be delicious with any fruit in desserts such as tarts and pies. I found figs in the fruit shop yesterday, so I bought them to try. They tasted very good. Even my husband who doesn’t like desserts praised the deliciousness, O(∩_∩)O haha~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Tart crust preparation: Cut 130 grams of low-gluten flour and 40 grams of butter (no need to soften) into small cubes and mix them with salt
-
Use your hands to knead the butter and flour into powder
-
Mix the egg yolk and water evenly and pour into the butter powder.
-
Knead the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
-
Filling: Beat 20 grams of softened butter and 40 grams of powdered sugar evenly
-
Add the egg liquid in three batches, beat evenly and then add the remaining egg liquid until the egg liquid is completely absorbed and beat well
-
Add 40g almond flour and 15g milk, mix well and set aside
-
Take out the refrigerated tart crust dough, roll it into a round shape, spread it on the tart mold, use a fork to poke some small holes in the bottom of the crust to prevent expansion during baking
-
Then cover with tin foil, put a heavy object on it, preheat the oven to 175 degrees, turn the heat up and down, and bake the middle layer for 15 minutes before taking it out. Remove the foil and weight from the crust and bake for another 15 minutes.
-
Spread almond filling and top with figs
-
Bake at 170 degrees for 20 minutes until the surface is golden brown
