Cut the steak meat into square cubes (it will be slightly firm after thawing)★ Transfer the steak meat from the freezer to the refrigerator for 2 hours (or pre-freeze it for 2 hours before cutting). The hardness of the meat makes it easier to cut.

Diced beef with marinade for added flavor

Crack the garlic and mince it, cut the tomatoes into 1/4 rounds, add sugar & vinegar and mix well

Stack the nine-layer pagoda leaves, roll them up, and chop them into pieces

Saute diced tomatoes in a little oil until softened and set aside

Stir-fry the minced garlic with a little oil over low heat, then add the nine-story pagoda and stir-fry until fragrant

Turn to medium heat and stir-fry beef cubes until half cooked

Return the tomatoes to the pot, mix well and simmer until cooked, sprinkle with some minced peppercorns and serve.
