Torte – rice cooker version

Overview

I love making food, but my baby is still young and some foods are not yet suitable for me. This time when my baby went to my grandma’s house, I happened to bring home an electric egg beater. I was too lazy to use the oven at home, so I used the rice cooker to make a cake and eat it. By the way, I tried to see if the egg beater works!

  2. Separate the egg yolks and egg whites, put them into two bowls (the bowls should be water-free and oil-free), then fry the cashews and peanuts and crush them

  3. Put 6 spoons of flour, 10 spoons of milk, 2 spoons of sugar, and a spoonful of lard (I used lard instead of butter, there is no butter at home) into the egg yolk liquid,

  4. Stir into a grain-free egg paste

  5. Then put a spoonful of sugar and a little salt into the egg whites, and beat them with an electric egg beater (you can also use a manual beater for each electric beater. I once tried to beat the egg whites with 10 chopsticks, but it took two or three hours and I almost collapsed!)

  6. After whipping to this foamy state, add a spoonful of sugar (this is the second time to add sugar)

  7. Then when it reaches a semi-liquid state, add the third sugar, a spoonful of white sugar

  8. The finally beaten egg whites can stand up like this and will not fall down

  9. Then pour half of the beaten egg white into the egg batter, and stir it up and down without stirring clockwise

  10. After stirring until there are no lumps, pour the egg batter into the bowl with the remaining egg whites, and stir evenly

  11. Just stir until there are no particles. While stirring the egg liquid, plug in the rice cooker and heat it

  12. Then put a spoonful of lard in the rice cooker so that the bottom and sides of the pot are covered with oil

  13. Then pour the egg batter into the rice cooker and shake it a few times to knock out all the bubbles. Some of the bubbles floating on the surface can be broken

  14. Then sprinkle the nuts on the surface, cover the pot, cover the edge of the pot with a damp cloth, and press the cooking button. Because I preheated it in advance, it jumped up within two minutes, but don't worry about it. Wait five minutes before pressing the cooking button. After it jumps, wait five minutes before pressing it again. After doing this for three or four times, open the lid to check and poke it with chopsticks to see if it is cooked. If it is not cooked, simmer for a while or press the cooking button again until the cake is cooked!

  15. Because I used more lard, the bottom did not burn after being simmered for a long time and the cake easily separated from the bottom of the pan. Just take it out, let it cool and cut into pieces! Do you have a strong appetite? !

  16. This is the egg white that I used to whip with a bunch of chopsticks. It was very time-consuming and incomplete

  17. This is the egg white that I used to beat with chopsticks before. The resulting cake was very flat and not fluffy enough, so it was still necessary to bring an electric egg beater home!

  18. Nut cake, isn’t it very appetizing? You can also make delicious food with the equipment you often have at home!
