  1. Wash the chicken wings and make a few cuts. You can marinate it in oyster sauce or not

  2. Cut the potatoes into cubes and soak the rice cakes in water

  3. Heat oil in a pan, add onion, ginger and garlic and saute until fragrant

  4. Add chicken wings and fry until both sides are golden brown, add a spatula of cooking wine, half a spatula of dark soy sauce, and a spatula of light soy sauce

  5. Add potatoes and pour water to cover half of the ingredients

  6. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, then open the lid and turn the chicken wings over, cover and simmer for another 3 minutes.

  7. Open the lid and add rice cake

  8. Reduce the juice over high heat. If you feel it is not salty enough, you can add some salt.
