-
Prepare the ingredients for cooking taro balls, a box of turtle paste, appropriate amounts of lotus seeds, red beans, barley and longan.
-
Put the lotus seeds, red beans, barley and longan into a pot of water and simmer for 3 hours. (Actually, I simmered these things in a water-proof stew before going to bed on the first night, and put the stewed ingredients in the refrigerator the next morning. When I started making taro balls in the afternoon of the second day, I just took these things out and used them.)
-
Start cooking the taro balls: After the water in the pot boils, add the taro balls and cook until they float.
-
It’s time to take it out of the pot and plate it! Ladle the lotus seeds and other ingredients stewed in a stew pot, turtle paste, and cooked taro balls into a bowl.
-
Add the soup of stewed lotus seeds and other ingredients, and an appropriate amount of honey. Stir it up and it’s ready to eat!
