Sugar Osmanthus
Overview
In the golden autumn, the sweet-scented osmanthus is fragrant. With the arrival of the rainy season, the ground is full of sweet-scented osmanthus. Taking advantage of the sunny weather, I picked small bags of fresh osmanthus to make sugar osmanthus. The osmanthus in the picture was pickled last year and has a very mellow taste. It is very sweet and delicious when you put a little bit in it for cooking and making snacks.

Roughly remove the impurities from the fresh osmanthus, clean it, spread it out to dry,

Put the dried osmanthus on a plate,

Sprinkle white sugar evenly,

Cover with plastic wrap,

Steam vigorously over high heat for 10 minutes,

Mix the steamed osmanthus sugar with honey,

Keep it sealed for more than 1 month before eating. The longer the time, the more fragrant the sugar-osmanthus will be.
