When hairy crabs arrive, check their freshness first. Steaming is not suitable for stale or dead crabs.
-
Use a clean brush to scrub the crabs one by one (claws, back, abdomen)
-
Pour a pot with cold water, add an appropriate amount of ginger, green onions, cooking wine, and turn on the heat.
-
Place the crab belly side up in the steamer.
-
Prepare a small bowl, adjust the dipping ingredients, add grated ginger (to relieve the coldness of the crab), steamed fish soy sauce, vinegar, and stir evenly.
-
After the water in the pot is boiling, steam the crabs.
-
Steam for 15 minutes, remove from pan and plate.
