Prepare the ingredients. Put all the ingredients except butter and bean paste into the bread machine and start the dough mixing process

Add the softened butter at room temperature and continue kneading the dough. Let it ferment 2.5 times in size.

After the fermented dough is deflated, divide it evenly into two parts. Knead the dough in each part and roll it into a rectangular sheet. Spread the bean paste filling on the dough.

Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape with the edge facing down. Do not use too much force when rolling out. Roll out gently and slowly. Otherwise, the bean paste will easily leak out. Use a sharp knife to evenly cut horizontal stripes. Be careful to only scratch the top layer of dough.

Turn it over and roll it up from one side. Roll it into a long tube shape with the bottom edge facing down. Roll up the two ends and close them in the middle. Roll up one end tightly and insert it into the other end and pinch it to seal.

After everything is done, place it in a warm place for secondary fermentation and then brush with a layer of egg wash.
