Lotus seed, corn and pig's trotters soup
Overview
Summer is the season when lotus seeds mature. Lotus seeds have the effects of nourishing the kidneys and astringent essence, nourishing the heart and calming the mind. Fresh lotus seeds are sweeter than dried lotus seeds. You might as well eat some fresh lotus seeds in summer! Pig's trotters contain a large amount of collagen protein, which can effectively improve the body's physiological functions and the water storage function of skin tissue cells, moisturizing the cells and delaying the aging process of the skin. Corn has many functions, including preventing cancer, anti-aging, strengthening the spleen, preventing constipation, beautifying skin, etc. So I made lotus seed, corn and pig’s trotters soup to treat myself!
