Braised pork trotters in oyster sauce
Overview
I have foodies at home and I really like this dish. This dish highlights the aroma of shiitake mushrooms and oysters. The combination of shiitake mushrooms and oysters is endlessly delicious. In the past, my husband has cooked this dish, but this is my first time making it, and no husband can do it well.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Accessories: yuba (fried is best, I didn’t fry it here, just soaked it in water for ten minutes), shiitake mushrooms and oysters, washed and soaked;
-
Wash the pig's trotters and blanch them; set aside
-
Wash the peanuts and soak them in water for three hours;
-
In addition to salt, the ingredients are: oyster sauce, white sugar, soy sauce;
-
Heat oil in a pot, add mushrooms, peanuts, pig's trotters, and oysters, stir-fry until fragrant;
-
Add water to cover the pig's trotters, bring to a boil over high heat, simmer for half an hour, then turn to low heat and simmer for another 40 minutes; (If you simmer for too long, the pig's trotters will lose their chewiness. If you like a softer texture, you can simmer for a longer time)
-
Finally, when the soup is almost dry, add salt, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and a little sugar (you can also add no sugar) to taste. At this time, you can add the soaked yuba, stir-fry for a while, adjust the flavor, and then you can start the pot.

Plate. In fact, my favorite is not the pig's trotters, but the peanuts, which are especially soft, flavourful and delicious. Pig's trotters are my husband's favorite.
