Overview

When encountering fresh and tender water spinach, the leaves and stems can be cooked separately. Stir-frying the vegetable leaves satisfies my children's bad habit of eating only the leaves. Stir-frying the vegetable stems with garlic and chopped peppers gives a different flavor. It is definitely a vegetarian meal in summer.

  1. Flatten the tender water spinach stems with the side of a knife.

  2. Cut into sections.

  3. Also prepare some onions and garlic.

  4. Put oil in the pot, add garlic and green onions and saute until fragrant.
