【Liaoning】Five-spice sausage
Overview
I usually love sausages so much that I make a few at home. Now many comrades in our unit are learning to make sausages and luncheon meat from me. It’s actually very simple. This sausage is the five-spice flavor I made. Check it out if you like it:

Buy pork that is both fat and lean

Buy ready-made five-spice seasoning packets online (available in all flavors)

Stir part of the meat into stuffing and cut part into slices or small pieces

Add the seasonings in picture 2 and marinate for at least two hours

Dissolve the starch with water and mix with the meat and set aside

Check whether the casing is leaking and rinse with clean water

Prepare funnel and string

Grease the surface of the funnel and put it on the casing

Put the filling in and press it down with chopsticks or a small funnel like mine

Leave more space at both ends of the intestines and use a needle to prick the eyes. Add water to the steamer and put warm water into the pot. After steaming, turn to low heat and pierce the eyes while steaming. Don't use too much heat, otherwise it will burst. If the temperature is too high, open the lid and add an appropriate amount of cold water. If you are making it for the first time, you can refer to the cooking method of garlic sausage in my recipe.
